Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Valley

  • Your journey begins with an early pickup from your accommodation or Marrakech airport. Cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, with stops at scenic viewpoints before reaching Ait Ben Haddou.
  • Explore the UNESCO-listed ksar, then continue through Ouarzazate, Skoura and the beautiful Valley of Roses before arriving in the Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel Trek – Desert Camp

  • After breakfast, continue through the Dades Valley towards the spectacular Todra Gorge. Enjoy a short walk between its towering red cliffs before travelling through the palm oases towards Erfoud.
  • Continue to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, where you leave the vehicle behind for a camel trek across the golden Sahara dunes. Watch the sunset from the dunes before reaching your desert camp for dinner and traditional Berber music.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

  • Wake early to enjoy the Sahara sunrise before breakfast and return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4. Continue through Rissani and Erfoud, then follow the scenic Ziz Valley towards Midelt.
  • Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at the Cedar Forest, where you may see Barbary macaques. Continue to Ifrane, often known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," before arriving in Fes for drop-off.
